2024-25 (Freshman): Neitenbach started at 184 pounds, compiling a record of 15-9, which included a 6-8 mark against ranked foes. He went 8-3 in duals and 2-2 in regular-season tournaments. Neitenbach missed some time with injury. He qualified to the NCAA Championships as a No. 19 seed and logged a pair of wins once there. Neitenbach was seeded sixth at the Big 12 Tournament and finished fourth with three wins, two of which were major decisions. He logged his first-career win in the season opener against Campbell, registering a major decision against Cole Rees. Neitenbach boasted his first-career ranked win in impressive fashion, pinning No. 25 Nathan Haas (Cal Baptist). More than half of his wins (nine) were bonus-point victories. Neitenbach was third among starters in takedowns (45) and second in near falls (five).

High School: Neitenbach competed for Buckeye High School. He captured an individual state title as a senior, while also having a third-place finish on his resume. Neitenbach took runner-up at the Indiana Hoosier Preseason Open, and also went 7-1 at the 2023 Junior National Duals.
