JUNIOR (2018-19): She began her career with a 9-6 singles record during the fall. Her first career victory came against Sarah Cheverie of Montana State. Had a five match winning streak in the fall. Royo went 3-0 at the Wyoming Invite. In doubles action, she went 7-7 with three different playing partners. She and Ana Fernandez were 6-3. Finished the year with a 19-12 overall record and 10-5 during the spring, mainly playing at the number four position. Won her last seven of nine matches to close out the year. Had an overall record of 16-15 in doubles action and went 9-9 with Maria Oreshkina. 

NEBRASKA-KEARNEY: Royo joined the Cowgirl program after a two-year career at Nebraska-Kearney. She finished her sophomore campaign 8-3 in singles playing at the number one spot and 9-5 in doubles action at the number one spot. The team finished 16-8 overall and 5-4 in conference play. In her first season, she was named the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Freshman of the Year and to the Second Team. She went 20-4 in singles action overall and 13-15 in doubles action.  

PERSONAL: Born March 4, 1998 in Valencia, Spain. The daughter of Jose Miguel and Joaqui. Has one sibling, Miguel. Majoring in microbiology.
