Before Wyoming: Herges played at Abilene Christian for two seasons. She made nine appearances with one start. Herges allowed six goals with 10 saves for a GAA of 1.57. She received her first-career start against Prairie View A&M (9/14/23). 

High School: Herges competed for Pinnacle High School. She was named a captain of her her school team and her club squad. Herges was named to the Principal's List all four years. 

Personal: Herges is the daughter of Jane and Matthew Herges. She has two siblings, Tyler and Bryce. Herges' father played in the MLB for 12 seasons.
