Freshman (2024): Griess participated in 13 games for a total of 218 minutes played. She fired two shots on the season, one of which was on target. Griess played a season-high 29 minutes against New Mexico (10/27/24).

High School: Griess played as a midfielder during her high school career. She competed for Burns High School. Griess was a three-sport athlete in high school, participating in cross-country, basketball and soccer. She’s a two-time All-State soccer player while also being a two-time All-State basketball player. Griess helped Burns capture a state championship in 2023. She was also a four-time All-Conference performer in cross-country. Griess was named WYO Sports Cheyenne Soccer Player of the Year each of the past two seasons and was the valedictorian of her graduating class.

Personal: Griess’ parents are Andrea and Jason Griess. Her older sister played collegiate soccer at Laramie County Community College. Griess is majoring in kinesiology & health promotion.
