Pitter started the season with a bang breaking the Wyoming school record at the Power Meet in December with a jump of 25-10.25. Mersal went on to break that record but Pitter remains No. 2 in school history with that jump. The sophomore from Gillette, Wyo., finished fifth at the Mountain West Championships.
