Junior (2018-19): Recorded the third fastest time of the season by a Cowgirl in the 1650 freestyle recording a time of 17:54.37…recorded the sixth fastest time of the season by a Cowgirl in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 10:47.79…helped the Cowgirls to a victory over New Mexico State with a second place finish in the 1000 freestyle recording a time of 10:56.69.
Sophomore (2017-18): Swam the 1000 freestyle against Colorado School of Mines recording a time of 11:05.28 which earned her a third-place finish in that meet.
Freshman (2016-17): Logged career-best times in all three of her races at the Colorado Mesa Invite…recorded a 1:57.72 in the 200 freestyle, a 5:05.25 in the 500 freestyle and a 17:30.34 in the 1650 freestyle.
High School: Graduated from Colegio Emil Friedman in Caracas, Venezuela...in 2013, was the South American and Central American champion in open water 5k…placed 12thin the open water world junior championship in 2014…a five-time national champion in the 300mand 1500mrace...finished 25thin the open water Pre-Olympic tournament in 2016…in 2013, logged her best times ever in the 300m, 400mand 1500mraces, placing first as a national champion in each event…earned academic honors from 2011-2015 for her 3.7 GPA.
Personal: Daughter of Julian Iturbe and Jeanette Franzius…has one sibling, Julian Iturbe…intends to major in microbiology.
