2025:
Welch is currently on the Saints' practice squad.

Week 17
Welch was active for the second game this season and did not record a stat in the Saints' 34-26 win at Tennessee.

Week 18
Welch made his first-career start in the Saints' 19-17 loss at Atlanta. He played 13 snaps, seven on offense and six on special teams. For the season, he played 37 snaps, 16 on offense and 21 on special teams for the 6-11 Saints.

2024:
Browns waived Welch on August 27. On August 29, the New Orleans Saints signed Welch to the practice squad.

2023: After going undrafted, Welch signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Cleveland Browns.
