2025-26 (Sophomore): Leid started all 13 tournaments in what was a record-breaking season for him and the team. He tied for first, falling in a playoff, at the 2026 National Golf Invitational. He carded a program-best 198 (-18), which featured a career-low 64 (-8) in Round 1. Leid tied for fourth at the Mountain West Conference Championships, which matches the second-best individual Mountain West finish in school history and third-best conference finish overall in program history. Leid’s performance helped the Pokes take fifth at the conference championships, which matches the school’s best-ever Mountain West finish and third-best conference finish overall in program history. Leid was also part of the 36-hole program scoring record, as the Cowboys were 21-under following two rounds of the NGI. Leid fired 12 rounds in the 60s – which included all three rounds of the conference championships and all three rounds of the NGI – during the 2025-26 campaign for an impressive 31 percent. He finished the season with a 71.7 scoring average.

2024-25 (Freshman): Leid started all 13 tournaments. He logged his best finish at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate where he tied for 14th at 218 (+2). Leid also played well the week prior at the Lamkin San Diego Classic where he took 15th at 210 (-6), and all three of his rounds were under par. He boasted a third top 25 finish at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, placing in a tie for 22nd at 213 (-3). Leid’s career-lowest round of 66 (-5) was recorded at the Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational. He earned a Mountain West high four Freshman of the Week honors. Leid’s scoring average ended up being 72.4 (2,825 strokes/39 rounds).

High School: Leid is from Phoenix, Arizona, but was born in Denver, Colorado. He is a four-time letterwinner at Corona Del Sol High School. Leid was an All-City selection in 2023 and was also named team captain. He earned All-Tournament accolades in three events during the 2023 season. Leid owns a school record two-round score of 12-under after rounds of 65 and 64. He earned one win and four top-five finishes in the summer season of 2023. Leid also earned a third-place finish in the AJGA Jim Click Automatic.
