He recorded a solo stop for the Cowboys against Hawaii. 2021: Redshirted for the Cowboys in his first season with the program. High School: Jovan Marsh was rated as a three-star recruit by 247 Sports. Marsh was also rated as the No. 58 recruit by 247 Sports in the talent rich state of Illinois. His junior season, Marsh was credited with 40 total tackles, including 21 solo tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, one interception, five pass breakups and one forced fumble. He returned four kickoffs for a 20.5 yard average and returned three punts for a 16.7 yard average. Marsh also ran track in high school. He played for head football coach Ron Dawczak.
