Junior (2017): Started in 19 games as a main stay on the Cowgirl defense…finished with three goals, which was third best on the team…hit game winning goals against Southern Utah (8/25/17) and San Jose State (10/1/17)…took 18 shots, 12 of those on goal and recorded six points…logged 1,742 minutes during her junior campaign.
 
Sophomore (2016): Appeared in 19 games for the Cowgirls, and started in 11 contests…became an anchor of Wyoming’s defense midway through the season, starting the last 10 games of the year at centerback…helped UW tie its single-season record for shutouts (8)…scored one goal, a game-winner against Idaho State, in her first start of the season…dished out two assists, including the pass that created UW’s only goal in its Mountain West Tournament game against Utah State.
 
Freshman (2015): Burton was a key defender for the Wyoming defense...as a freshman started and played in 19 games throughout the season...had one goal and one assist to total three points...her lone goal was a header that helped propel the Cowgirls passed Fresno State, 3-0...racked up 1,590 minutes of playing time throughout her freshman campaign.

High School: Has been a part of the Colorado Rush Soccer Club since 2010 where her team was crowned Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) National Champions in 2012...was also a member of the Colorado ODP State Team and participated in both Region IV camps and Region IV championships...a four-year varsity starter for Cherokee Trail High School, she was a two-time Team MVP and three-time All-Conference honoree.

Personal: The daughter of Chris and Christine Burton...has one older sister, Emily, who played soccer at Western Colorado, and two younger siblings Rebekah and Brayden...majoring in elementary education.
