Biography

Freshman (2014): Played in 20 matches with five starts... recorded five points... took 15 shots, tallied two goals and eared an assist one other goal... scored her first career goal at Idaho State and tallied her second goal at New Mexico... seven of her 15 shots were on goal... accumulated 544 minutes... earned her first letter with the Cowgirls.

High School: A three-sport athlete at John G. Diefenbaker High School, Cryer plays volleyball, basketball and rugby and was named the grade 10 Female Athlete of the Year. A four-year member of the Calgary Blizzard, she helped lead the team to a gold medal in the 2013 Alberta Provincials and on to the National Championships in Newfoundland. Cryer was also a member of the 2012 Alberta Provincial team that won a bronze medal at the National All-Star tournament in Halifax.

Personal: The daughter of David and Shelley Cryer, she has one older sister, Alanna, who plays rugby at University of Victoria and also one younger sister, Julia. She plans to study nursing at UW.
