LARAMIE, WYO. (Sept. 26, 2026) – In a final event deciding intrasquad meet, Wyoming's Brown team defeated the Gold Team, 286-275, Saturday morning, at the Wyoming Aquatic Center.
On standouts from the meet, head coach
Dave Denniston mentioned, "
Tessa Bendokas had a heck of a day. She swam the fastest she ever had at this meet.
Taylor Craft swam a great 100 breaststroke, a great start to the season."
"On the men's side,
Joey Sudermann did a fantastic job at the meet across all his events.
Stephen Argabright stepped up in his first collegiate meet, swimming the 1000 free, 500 free and 200 breaststroke. That is impressive," said Denniston.
Twenty-seven pool records were broken on Saturday following the alumni Brown, Gold & Old meet. However, four records still stand from the alumni: women's 100 yard breaststroke, men's 400 IM, men's 800 yard freestyle relay and women's 200 yard freestyle relay.
"So great to have over 200 alums to come this weekend. The support going all the way back to the 1970s for this team and program is so special," said Denniston. "It's something we all truly appreciate."
