ST. GEORGE, Utah – Cowgirl golf returns to the links to compete in the nine-team Thunderbird Invitational starting Friday at the par-72, 5,914-yard Sunbrook Golf Club.
Wyoming, coming off a fourth-place finish at the Grand Canyon Invitational, will tee off in the 54-hole tournament beginning with the first round at 8:30 a.m. Friday.
At the 2024 Thunderbird Classic, senior Jadan Gonzalez, shared the individual trophy during a strong showing for UW.
This year's field also includes host Southern Utah, Idaho State, Omaha, Loyola Chicago, Stetson, Utah Valley, Utah Tech and Weber State. The second round will be played Saturday with the final round on Sunday.

The Cowgirls had two top 10 individual finishes at the GCU Invitational with freshman
Kiley Reisner finishing sixth at +3 and junior
Elle Higgins finishing eighth at +8.
