MILLBRAE, Calif. – Wyoming freshman Kiley Reisner shot a final round 73 to lead Cowgirl golf, which finished 10^th at the Silicon Valley Showcase on Tuesday at Green Hills Country Club.
 
Reisner, coming off winning the individual trophy on March 8 at the Thunderbird Classic in St. George, Utah, finished the 54-hole tournament tied for 21^st at +10.
 
"Kiley should be really proud of her finish on a difficult golf course in a strong field," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "Overall, as a team, we played much better than we scored. On a golf course with little margin for error, we just need to have more confidence in our abilities."
 
Eastern Michigan, led by individual medalist Baiyok Sukterm (-3), rallied to beat Cal by one stroke in the team race with a three-round score of 860 (+8).
 
UW will host the annual Cowgirl Classic April 7-8 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz.
 
"This group continues to play with resilience, even while battling injuries," Stender said. "Fortunately, we have a lot of golf left in the season on familiar courses which will help in our preparation."
