MILLBRAE, Calif. – Cowgirl golf is in 10

Elle Higgins at +8.
"This course demands tremendous focus and mental toughness. We had great moments of that at times but unfortunately, we had two stretches of holes that significantly impacted our scoring," UW head coach
Josey Stender said.
UW did turn in the shot of the tournament thus far when sophomore
Kira Reisner made a hole-in-one on No. 15, a 143-yard par-3.
"It was exciting for Kira to make her first hole-in-one as a fun highlight," Stender said. "We know we are capable of scoring much better and competing with this caliber of field."
Cal leads the 10-team field at even par (568). Eastern Michigan's Baiyok Sukterm is four shots clear of the field at -6 after shooting 68 in both rounds.
