LARAMIE, Wyoming (3/15/26) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team is back in action this week. The Cowboys are set to tee it up at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, which spans Monday and Tuesday at the Tucson Country Club.

It's a par 72 layout that stretches 7,533 yards. It'll be an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start both days with 36 holes completed Monday and the final 18 being wrapped up on Tuesday.

A total of 14 teams are set to take part in the Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. In addition to Wyoming, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Long Beach State, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, Pacific, UTEP and UTSA are slated to compete.

The Pokes will be looking to bounce back after an underwhelming performance at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational. They took 16th as a team. Brody Knowlton led the way for the third consecutive tournament, tying for 46th.

Brody Leid paced the Cowboys last year at the Thunderbirds Intercollegiate. He placed 14th, helping his squad to a seventh-place finish.

Following play in Tucson, Wyoming takes a week off prior to hosting its second tournament of the spring season. The Cowboy Classic is scheduled for March 31-April 1 in Maricopa, Arizona.
