CHULA VISTA, California (3/10/26) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team wrapped up play at the R.E. Lamkin San Diego Invitational on Tuesday. The Cowboys took 16th as a team at 901 (+37) in a tournament played at the San Diego Country Club.
San Diego seized the team title at 838 (-26). Long Beach State and BYU rounded out the top three at 840 (-24) and 847 (-17), respectively. BYU's Kihei Akina sat atop the individual leaderboard at 202 (-14).
Brody Knowlton paced the Pokes from wire to wire. He finished in a tie for 46th at 221 (+5) following a final round 74 (+2).
Brody Leid tied for 66th place with a final score of 226 (+10). He closed with a 77 (+5).
Kellen Ball also shared 66th place. He concluded with a 76 (+4) for a three-round total of 226 (+10).
Kristof Panke rounded out the countable Wyoming scores. He fired a total score of 228 (+12) with a final round 77 (+5) that tied him for 77th.
Conner Scheich's score of 236 (+20) is dropped.
Austin Barry, who was competing as an individual, shot a 245 (+19).
Wyoming is back in action next week. The Cowboys travel to the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, which gets underway on Monday.
