FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Oct. 2, 2026) – Wyoming swimming and diving lead on the men's and women's side following the first day of action at the Front Range Invite on Friday.
Cowboys lead with 554 points on seven first-place finishes while Cowgirls are in first with 440.5 points on four event wins.
COWGIRLS
The meet commenced with the 400-yard medley relay, where three Cowgirl squads took to the pool. The Wyoming "A" relay of senior

Tara Joyce finished in fourth with a time of 3:48.57. Following closely behind in sixth was the "B" relay of freshman

Marley Monsen, freshman

Raiden Harris with a time of 3:51.87. In exhibition for the Cowgirls were freshman

Ella Lesnever touching the wall at 4:01.31. The Cowgirls picked up 30 points from the opening event.
Junior
Macey Hansen continued her winning ways as a Cowgirl with a first-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle, adding 20 points. Her time of 5:00.52 was more than eight seconds ahead of the next finisher. Senior
Katie Ford finished next for Wyoming with a time of 5:10.19 for eighth. Junior
Avery True touched right after Ford with a time of 5:10.97 for ninth overall. In T-11th,
Isabelle Henderson touched the wall at 5:12.76 while Borkowski finished in 15th with a time of 5:16.44. Overall, Wyoming added 47.5 points to their total.
In the 200-yard IM, Craft touched the wall first for the Cowgirls in fourth. She finished with a time of 2:07.63. Sophomore
Emma Aumaugher finished in seventh with a time of 2:10.00 while junior
Abigail Bruss touched the wall at 2:10.04 for ninth. Sims added the last points in the event in 11th with a time of 2:10.29. The four grabbed 42 points for the team. Seven more Cowgirls swam in the event as well. Sophomore
Sienna Hawbaker placed 18th at 2:11.46 while freshman
Cameryn Walkup and Cole touched back-to-back for 20th and 21st at 2:11.93 and 2:11.98, respectively. Sophomore
Makenna Reiner and Monsen finished next with times of 2:14.46 (31st) and 2:15.29 (33rd), respectively. Finally, sophomore Isal Hardie touched the wall at 2:18.06 for 39th while freshman
Cameron House finished in 45th with a time of 2:22.69.
The Cowgirls finished with three of the top four finishers in the 50-yard freestyle. Joyce swam the fastest time at 23.49 for the win while Harris just edged out a CSU swimmer for second with a time of 23.74. In fourth, Frauenfelder touched the wall at 23.77. Freshman
Greta Marcott and Lesnever finished 14-15 to score with times of 24.31 and 24.42, respectively. This group picked up 57 points for Wyoming. Nutter finished next with a time of 24.70 for 19th while sophomore
Rose Jones touched at 25.05 for 28th. Lastly, Cureton swam a time of 25.37 for 37th overall.
Harris was the fastest Cowgirl in the 200-yard backstroke. She touched with a time of 2:04.73, just 0.04 seconds ahead of third. Sims and Bendokas touched 7-8 with times of 2:06.98 and 2:07.32, respectively. Sophomore
Katherine Beauchene added the final points with her finish of 2:09.85 for 14th. The four added 43 points to the team total.
Joyce added to her sprint success on the night with a first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. She touched the wall at 50.85. True finished next with a time of 51.88 for fourth, followed closely by Frauenfelder in fifth at 51.94. Lesnever picked up the final scoring position with a time of 53.42 for 16th. This completed a 50-point finish for the Cowgirls. Marcott swam to 18th at 53.55 with Hawbaker taking 23rd with a time of 53.93. Also in the event, Jones touched the wall at 54.22 for 26th while Cureton took 37th at 54.75.
In the 200-yard breaststroke, Craft led the Cowgirls with a time of 2:22.40 for third. She was joined by Cole in seventh at 2:25.71 and Monsen in eighth with a time of 2:25.89. The trio picked up 39 points. Also swimming was Reiner in 19th with a time of 2:32.01 and House in 21st at 2:34.86.
Bruss led the team in the final individual event of the night. In the 200-yard butterfly, she touched the wall fourth with a time of 2:07.57. Ford had the next-best finish in ninth at 2:09.75. She was followed by Nutter, who swam a time of 2:10.83 for 12th while Walkup added the final point in 16th at 2:12.51. The crew totaled 30 points. Aumaugher and Hardie closed the event with times of 2:12.61 (17) and 2:16.20 (22), respectively.
To close day one, the Cowboy 200-yard freestyle relay "A" team picked up 40 points with their first-place finish. The crew of Marcott, Harris, Frauenfelder and Joyce finished with a time of 1:33.52. The "B" relay of Cureton, Lesnever, Nutter and True touched at 1:37.54 for eighth while the "C" team of Craft, Hawbaker, Hardie and Jones took 10th with a time of 1:38.99.
COWBOYS
Cowboys started the meet off with a first and third-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay. The "B" relay of senior

Luke O'Connor out-touched Denver at the wall by 0.6 seconds with a time of 3:19.30. The "A" squad of sophomore
Jackson Kogler, freshman
Marcel Jureko, freshman
Joey Sudermann and junior
Antonie Pieterse swam to a finish of 3:20.52. The two relays added 72 points to Wyoming's total.
Wyoming finished 1-2 in the 500-yard freestyle with finishes from junior
Isaac Lee and freshman
Stephen Argabright. Lee swam to a time of 4:38.27 and was shortly followed by Argabright touching the wall at 4:39.95. Junior
Andrew Cooper grabbed eighth place with his time of 4:46.26, rounding out the Cowboy entries. Together, the three picked up an efficient 48 points.
Adding another first-place finish, Kogler won the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:48.84. He was the only competitor under 1 minute, 52 seconds. Sudermann finished next in fourth at 1:54.74, followed by senior
Cameron Knox in fifth with a time of 1:55.68. Freshman
Archer Sanchez scored with his 11th-place finish at 1:58.58 while Jureko grabbed the last points with his time of 2:02.22 in 16th. The IM crew added 56 points for the Cowboys.
Lombardi added his second of three victories on the night in the 50-yard freestyle. He finished with an impressive time of 20.51. Pieterse touched third overall with a time of 20.80 while O'Connor rounded out the top eight with a time of 21.47 for seventh. In ninth, Morales touched the wall with a time of 21.53, followed by senior
Adam Pannell in 10th at 21.56. Junior
Leo Kurucz grabbed a 12th-place finish at 21.64 while junior
Gray Sisco closed the scoring for Wyoming in the 50 free with a time of 22.10 in 15th. Cowboys earned 71 points in the event. Junior
Zack Smith also finished with a time of 22.44 for 17th.
Kogler added another individual win in the 200-yard backstroke. He just finished ahead of fellow 2026 NCAA qualifier Casey with a time of 1:48.44. Casey touched second with a time of 1:48.52. Knox also swam to a seventh-place finish at 1:57.93 to total 49 points.
Lombardi made it six-for-six Cowboy wins to start the meet with his first-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle. He touched the wall at 45.37. Pieterse added another third-place finish with his time of 45.97 while Kurucz finished in sixth with a time of 47.56. Sisco swam a time of 47.99 for 10th while Sanchez picked up 13th place at 48.23. O'Connor added the last points in 16th with his finish of 49.01. Smith touched at 49.49 for 17th overall. Cowboys added 61 points to the team score.
Three Cowboys scored in the 200-yard breaststroke. Morales finished with a time of 2:08.02 for third, Jureko touched the wall seventh at 2:09.57 and Argabright picked up a 15th-place finish at 2:14.65. They added 30 points.
Sudermann led the Cowboys in the final individual event with a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly. He swam a time of 1:53.68. Lee touched next in third with a time of 1:53.84, the last finish under 1 minute, 54 seconds. Pannell swam to fourth with a time of 1:54.51 while sophomore
Travis Ayers and Cooper went 7-8 with times of 1:56.66 and 1:57.13, respectively. The five picked up 71 points for the team.
Wyoming closed the night with a 200-yard freestyle relay victory, the Cowboys' seventh win of the meet so far. The "A" relay of Casey, Lombardi, Pieterse and Pannell finished with a time of 1:21.60. Wyoming's "B" relay of Sisco, Kurucz, O'Connor and Morales grabbed fourth at 1:24.95. These two groups added 70 points. The "C" relay took sixth at 1:26.45 with help from Sanchez, Smith, Sudermann and Cooper.
