ERIE, Colorado (9/30/25) – The University of Wyoming men's golf team wrapped up play at the Mark Simpson Colorado Invite on Tuesday. The Cowboys finished seventh at 846 (-18) in a tournament played at Colorado National Golf Club.

"This was a great event for us," head coach Joe Jensen said. "I'm proud of the guys. We took a little half step forward. We have a long, long, long way to go. But we beat a bunch of good teams. We beat a bunch of teams in our conference. And the biggest thing is that we've shown improvement from where we started the season."

Brody Leid paced the Pokes with a strong final round 68 (-4). He holed six birdies to vault up into a tie for ninth at 207 (-9). This represents Leid's best-career finish and his fourth career top 25.

"He found something at Air Force, and sometimes when you find something you can stay in a box of confidence," Jensen said. "He feels good about where things are at in his game. He's just a steady, steady player."

Kristof Panke and Ryker Lind both tied for 27th at 211 (-5). Panke carded a Tuesday round of 71 (-1), and Lind a 72 (E). It's the highest finish of Lind's young career.

Conner Scheich saved his best for last, as he logged a 69 (-3) on the final day to move up into a tie for 63rd at 217 (+1). His Tuesday was filled with five birdies and an eagle.

Kellen Ball's score is dropped from Wyoming's team score. He tied for 94th at 230 (+14) following a final round 74 (+2).

Brody Knowlton and Austin Barry participated as individuals. Knowlton tied for 63rd at 217 (+1) after a third round 72 (E). Barry placed 93rd at 229 (+13) following a final day 77 (+5).
