FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Wyoming women's golf team was tied with host Colorado State for eighth place after the first round of the 13-team Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic on Monday at Ptarmigan Country Club.
The second round was suspended and will be finished Tuesday morning with the final round of the 54-hole tournament to conclude in the afternoon.
Elle Higgins – who set program records for individual low round with a 68 (-5) and lowest tournament score with a 209 (-7) to lead UW to a runner-up finish at the Wolverine Invitational in Saratoga Spring, Utah – shot a 1-under 71 in the first round to lead the Cowgirls.

Kiley Reisner matched Higgins with a 71 in the first round and was tied for 13
th on the individual leaderboard when play was suspended.
Cal Poly led the loaded field after shooting 272 (-16) in the first round. UW and CSU both shot 289 (+1).
