BOSTON, Mass. — A historic Indoor season for Kareem Mersal and Remar Pitter came to an end at the 2024 NCAA Indoor Track and Field& Field Championships from the Track at New Balance in Boston, Mass., on Friday March 8th.

Mersal and Pitter were two of ten student athletes from the Mountain West Conference to qualify for the Championships and the only two to qualify for the Long Jump on the men's side of the Championships.

Mersal went 24-5.5 to take 11th at the Championships while Pitter went 22-1.75 to take 15th. At the conclusion of the season Mersal is the school and Mountain West Record Holder in the event while Pitter holds the No. 2 spot in the Wyoming Record Books.
