LARAMIE, Wyo. — The University of Wyoming Track & Field teams head to Fort Collins, Colo., and Colorado State University to compete at the Jack Christensen Invitational on Friday and Saturday. A trio of Pokes will also head to California to race at the Stanford Invitational on Friday. 

While the majority of the Cowboys and Cowgirls will be in Fort Collins, Seth Bruxvoort, Katelyn Mitchem and Jacob White are in California to race. Bruxvoort and Mitchem will compete on the track in the 3000M Steeplechase while White will run the 5K. Taking place in the evening on Friday night fans can follow along with the distance runners at https://rt.trackscoreboard.com/meets/33123/events

The rest of the Pokes will be at CSU for some field events on Friday afternoon and a full slate of action on Saturday. Friday will feature the Hammer Throw begging at 12, while Saturday will begin at 10AM with the Shot Put and Women's 5K at 10:05. A full schedule can be found at csurams.com

This will be the second outdoor competition of the season for Wyoming after begging the season at the Spank Blasing Invite in Pueblo, Colo., last weekend. 

Admission is free for the Jack Christensen Invitational. Spectators will NOT be allowed on the infield during warm ups or competition. Spectators for the throwing events will not be allowed to watch inside the track, they must stay outside of Lane 8 in the grass. Spectators for the long and triple jump must be outside of the fence on the East side of the track.
