University Place, Wash. (April 12, 2022) – The Wyoming Cowgirl golf squad wrapped up play at the Chambers Bay Invitational on Tuesday completing the third and final round of play at the Chambers Bay Golf Club. 
 
Freshman Meghan Vogt was the top finisher for the Cowgirls posting a three-round total of 239 (+23) to finish tied for 66^th amongst the very competitive field. Fellow Freshman Kyla Wilde was the next top finisher for the Brown and Gold finishing tied for 85^th with a three-round score of 244 (+28). Morgan Ryan closed out the tournament in 103^rd while Cristiana Ciasca and Samantha Hui finished 104^th and 107^th respectively. 
 
Playing as the lone individual for the Cowgirls, Jessica Zapf turned in a three-round score of 247 (+31) to finish tied for 93^rd amongst the field. 
 
In the team standings, the Cowgirls finished in 18^th with a score of 994 (+130) sitting behind 17^th place Idaho while the team crown went to No.15 ranked UCLA who posted a score of 875 (+12) finishing 18 strokes ahead of the rest of the field. 
 
The Cowgirls will now turn their attention to the post season as they prepare for the Mountain West Championships which will be hosted in Rancho Mirage, California April 18-20.
