ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (April 12, 2021) – The Wyoming golf team concluded the final 18 holes the Branch Law Firm-Dick McGuire Invite on Monday morning in Albuquerque. The tournament took place at the Par-72, 6,317 yard The Championship Golf Course at the University of New Mexico.
With a final round of 29-over, 317, the Cowgirls finished the tournament with a three round score of +76, 940, to finish 11th. Denver took home the team title with a final score of 864 (Even). Pepperdine was second with a score of 3-over 867. Washington was third with a score of 7-over 871. Carly Strole of Grand Canyon took home the top individual with her final of 8-under 208.
"It was great to see Cristiana (Ciasca) have a solid tournament and Caitlyn (Skavdahl) playing very solid all three rounds," head coach
Josey Stender said. "It's a quick turnaround for us going into the conference tournament. We have all the capability in the world to be competitive if we eliminate the unforced errors."

Caitlyn Skavdahl was the top finisher for the Cowgirls with a final three round score of 13-over 229 to place tied for 49th. Sophomore
Cristiana Ciasca completed the weekend with a 16-over, 232 three day score after a final round of 7-over, 79.
Sophomore
Samantha Hui finished her tournament in 59th with a 54-hole score of 20-over 236. She would finish Monday with an 8-over, 80. Freshman
Jessica Zapf went 22-over 238 with her final round of 7-over, 79, to move up a couple of spots.
Freshman
Morgan Ryan went 11-over 83 to go 26-over 242 followed by graduate
Erin Sargent with a three round total of 27-over 243.
The Cowgirls will close out the 2021 season at the Mountain West Conference Championship on beginning next Tuesday, April 20. The tournament will run over two days at the Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
