LARAMIE, Wyo. (Oct. 11, 2021) – The Wyoming Cowgirl tennis team is set for its final scheduled fall tournament as they travel to Las Vegas for the ITA Mountain Regional Championships. The event will be played October 13-17 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the campus of UNLV.

This week marks the third consecutive time that the regional tournament will be hosted by UNLV. A total of 20 teams will attend the event, including eight Mountain West teams. All student-athletes are guaranteed at least two matches this week at the regional.

In Division I, regional doubles champions, as well as regional singles champions and runners-up qualify for the ITA National Fall Championships at the end of the season.

The Cowgirls opened their fall slate in September at the ITA Bedford Cup hosted by Air Force. All nine UW student-athletes participated in the event. Noesjka Brink led the Cowgirls with three victories in singles play at the Bedford Cup, while Brink and partner Mihaela Kaftanova went 3-1 in doubles play at the tournament.

October 13 – First Round doubles (64), followed by First Round singles (128)

October 14 – Second Round doubles (32), Second (64) and Third Round (32) singles

October 15 – Round of 16 and Quarterfinals of doubles, Round of 16 singles, added singles & doubles matches

October 16 – Semifinal doubles, Quarterfinal and Semifinal singles, added singles & doubles matches

October 17 – Doubles Final, Singles Final, Consolation Singles, added singles & doubles matches
