The Cowboys opened the day with a 20-13 win over the Spartans, before a convincing win over the Cougars in which the Pokes racked up seven bonus point wins.

Know the Foe(s)
North Carolina comes into this Friday's duals ranked as high as No. 13 nationally by Intermat. The Tar Heels are coming off a 2-2 weekend at the South Beach Duals, with wins over Lehigh and North Dakota State, and losses to Indiana and Minnesota. UNC features a number of strong wrestlers, including No. 5 Austin O'Connor at 141 and No. 11 Chip Ness at 184. The Tar Heels are led by head coach Coleman Scott in his fourth year.
Army went 1-0 in its first dual of the season, with that win coming in a 29-5 victory over Drexel in Philadelphia last month. The Black Knights are coming off an eighth-place finish at the Midlands Championships in Chicago last weekend, where fourth-ranked Rocco Caywood finished fourth to lead the team. Army is led by fourth-year head coach Kevin Ward.
American will see its first dual action of the 2018-19 campaign on Friday. Led by No. 16 Josh Terao, the Eagles have made a number of appearances in different tournaments, including the Navy Classic where they finished 13th. Head coach Teague Moore is in his third season at American.
From Coach Branch
"This is the third year that we've done this with these teams. The first year, we went out to American and did it and last year we went to North Carolina, and we've done it over pretty much the same time frame. The (coaches) are all Oklahoma State guys, and they're all guys I either wrestled with or coached so we have a good relationship. Kevin Ward at Army said 'Man, I'm just beating my guys up at the Southern Scuffle, let's do something different.' This is good competition. I like the teams. They're all young coaches who are doing great things.
"Three duals in a row is not too much. These guys are used to wrestling four or five matches in a day at tournaments. It's about as much as you'd want to do, but I think it's about right for where we're at in the season."
