FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Sophomore diver
Karla Contreras placed sixth overall on the women's three-meter springboard Tuesday night to secure a spot from Zone E in the 2018 NCAA Championships. She qualifies in the event for the second consecutive season.
Contreras scored a 304.85 in the prelims to make the final round of 18. She managed to move up to sixth in the second session with a total of 626.05. The top nine divers in the three-meter earned an NCAA Championship bid. Junior
CeeJay Harris scored a 227.70 in the prelims and did not advance to the finals.

Ryan Russi was the only Cowboy to compete on the men's one-meter. He scored a 271.95 in the prelims to place 16th and advance to the final. He finished 18th with a total of 552.70, only the top five earned NCAA bids.
Tomorrow's events will include the women's and men's platform events. The women's prelims will begin at 11 a.m. MT followed by the finals at 1:35 p.m. The men's prelims will start at 3:50 p.m., with the finals following at 5:35 p.m. A link to live results can be found at gowyo.com.
