INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Junior Maria Harutjunjan and freshman Karla Contreras both competed on the second day of the NCAA Championships at the IU Natatorium. Harutjunjan placed 40th and Contreras placed 22nd.  

Harutjunjan finished in 40th in the preliminary round with a time of 1:01.08 in the 100 breaststroke. Contreras concluded the 3-meter diving event in 22nd after scoring a 298.20.

Contreras will close out the NCAA Championships tomorrow in the platform event. Preliminaries will start at 10:15 a.m. MT with the final session set to begin at 4 p.m. MT.
