The University of Wyoming women's golf team concluded the BYU Entrada Classic in St. George, Utah, on Tuesday, as the Cowgirls finished in 10th with a score of 949 (+85). Freshman Megan Knadler led the team with a three-round score of 237 (+21) to conclude the tournament with an 80 (+8) and tie for 34th place.

Sophomore Gabrielle Gibson was just one shot behind her and completed the tournament in 37th place. She had a third-round score of 82 (+10) to bring her total to 238 (+22). Senior Emily Woodard shot an 86 (+14) on the final day. Woodard tied for 56th place in the 81-individual field with a score of 245 (+29).

"We had a rough day and were never really able to get anything working for us," UW head coach Josey Stender said. "We got a little caught up in mechanics and I think it may have hurt our confidence."

Fellow senior Kathleen Kershisnik fired the same score as she did in first round to move up to a tie for 59th place. She shot a 78 (+6) on Tuesday to bring her three-round total to 247 (+31). Freshman Kaylee Knadler recorded a 91 (+19) during the final round. She finished the tournament with a portion of 65th place with a 250 (+34).

"We have a quick turnaround to our next event," Stender added. "If we focus on the process I know we will bounce back."

BYU managed to capture the tournament title with a first-place score of 888 (+24). Boise State's Samantha Martin took the individual title with a three-round score of 214 (-2).

Wyoming will be back on the links on Friday and Saturday for the MountainView Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
