Tedder’s goal for counseling with student-athletes and high performers is to empower individuals to take ownership of their lives and well-being. He uses a strengths-based and person-centered theoretical framework and integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities and blended approaches to work collaboratively to achieve both athlete and team goals, on and off the field of play.
Prior to joining Wyoming Athletics, Tedder provided mental health services to students at The Counseling Center at the University of Wyoming as the Multicultural Specialist. In this role, Tedder specialized his clinical expertise to meet the needs of multicultural students and identities.Â
