Taylor Stuemky is the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Internal Operations/Senior Woman Administrator (SWA).
In her present role, Stuemky serves as the sport administrator for volleyball and women’s tennis, and manages the units of Sports Medicine, Sports Performance, Student-Athlete Well-Being, Training Table, and Sports Nutrition for the Wyoming Athletics Department. She also oversees the
Excellence at 7220 Student-Athlete Development program and is the advisor for the
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Stuemky is a liaison for athletics with the Dean of Students office and Equal Opportunity Report and Response office, and Deputy Title IX Coordinator for the UW campus.
Stuemky had previously worked as Assistant AD for Student-Athlete Success, Director of Academic Services, and Academic Coordinator with stints directing the support services for football, men’s basketball, volleyball, and men’s and women’s swimming and diving.
Stuemky earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado in 2010. A member of the Bears volleyball team, she was a part of the program’s inaugural Big Sky Championship title in 2009. Stuemky earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Student-Development from Kansas State University in 2013.
A native of Denton, Texas, Stuemky and her husband, Thomas, live in Laramie with their three children, William, John, and Warner.
