2015-16: Breckenridge saw action in UW’s lineup twice during his senior season, as he wrestled 149 against Air Force and Oklahoma State. He also took part in the Reno Tournament of Champions after placing third in both the Cowboy Open and UNK Holiday Inn Open.


2014-15: Breckenridge gave the Cowboys a spark during the dual portion of the schedule. He recorded a 9-4 record on the season, which included going 4-1 in duals and 2-1 against WWC opponents. He finished the season with four pins. He opened his season by finishing third at the Northwest Open going 4-1 to open the season. 

2013-14: Breckenridge progressed nicely as a sophomore middle weight, posting a career-high 12 wins at 149 pounds. He was first in the Rocky Mountain Open with a 4-0 mark, which included three pins. He also finished fourth in the Cowboy Open and sixth in the UNK Holiday Inn Open. He tallied six falls (fourth on UW), including the squad's fifth-fastest pin of the year when he rolled up Reed Burgener of Chadron State in just 45 seconds. Breckenridge saw the first dual action of his career against Air Force. Breckenridge made his first Western Wrestling Conference Coaches' Honor Roll, scoring a 3.06 GPA in elementary education. 

2012-13: One of the team's most potent pinners, Breckenridge won six bouts by fall as a redshirt freshman. With a 10-9 overall mark, the highlight of his season came when he finished sixth in the Nebraska-Kearney Open. He tallied at least one pin in each of the four tournaments in which he wrestled and tied for fifth on the team with six falls. Wrestling at both 141 and 149 pounds during the season, he had the team's second-fastest fall of the season, when he pinned Colorado Mines' Mikie Burgess in just 44 seconds in his first match of the season at the Cowboy Open. 

2011-12: Breckenridge had his ups and downs in his redshirt year, but recovered to place in his last three tournaments. After starting the season 7-8, he finished 15-12 overall. He placed fifth in the Nebraska-Kearney Loper Open, third in the Utah Valley Open and second in the Rocky Mountain Open to end the year. Of his 15 wins, 12 came via fall and he led the Cowboys in that category. He also had Wyoming's 11th-fastest pin in history, sticking David Snelgrove of Bethany in just 22 seconds at the UNK Loper Open. 

High School: Breckenridge won individual state titles the last three years of his prep career under coach Bryce Leonhardt at Class 4A Cheyenne Central High School. He compiled a 160-21 overall record with 116 pins to become the first three-time state champion from Central and ended his career as the school's all-time pins leader. As a senior, he went 31-3 to earn the title at 152 pounds, after posting a 49-2 mark for the 145-pound championship during his junior campaign. He won at 140 as a sophomore with a 44-4 record and went 36-12 at 125 as a freshman. A four-time regional champion, Breckenridge earned All-Conference and All-State honors each year and was named Wyoming's Dave Schultz Award winner as a senior. Breckenridge also excelled in the USA wrestling system, winning four All-America honors. During the summer of 2009, he finished fourth in freestyle and fifth in Greco-Roman at the U.S. Cadet National Championships, while also earning All-America accolades with a third-place finish in the sophomore division at the National High School Coaches Association's High School Nationals. Breckenridge placed eighth in Greco-Roman at the U.S. Junior National Championships. On the football field, Breckenridge was a running back and earned All-Conference and All-State honors during his senior season. He was also named All-Conference as a junior while helping his team finish 10-2 and second in the state. He earned four letters in wrestling, three in football and one in soccer.

Personal: Breckenridge was born in Clearfield, Utah, and he is the son of Bruce and Somrney Breckenridge. He has three siblings. He is pursuing a degree in kinesiology and health promotion at UW.
