Biography

Covid Senior (2022)
Became the 13th member of the 1,000-Kill Club in program history against Morehead State September 15. Finishes her career ninth all-time with 1,172 kills. Closes her illustrious career with 1,313 points and 196 total blocks. Fourth on the team with 104 sets played in 2022 and led the team with 271 kills and was second averaging 2.61 per set. Hit .219 on the season and had a team-best 311.5 points. Recorded 47 blocks. Tallied 10-plus kills in 18 matches and had a season-best 17 against Idaho (9/16). Had 19 matches with double-digit points scored and had 17.5, twice. Tallied 14 aces and 69 digs.

Senior (Fall 2021)
Led the team with 316 kills, 2.93 kills per set and 358 total points. Her 3.01 kills per set during conference play ranked as the 10th-best in the Mountain West. McMahon was second on the team with 108 total sets played and made 24 starts. Hit .242 on the season and was third on the team with 56 total blocks in 2021. McMahon had 16 matches where she recorded 10-or-more kills, including a run of five consecutive to end the season. Tallied a total of eight aces and had 82 digs

Played in all 14 matches and made five starts in the spring of 2021. Led the Cowgirls with 131 kills and a 2.62 kills per set average. Second on the team with 146 total points (2.92 per set) and was third with 24 total blocks. Had five matches where she recorded at least 13 kills or more. Had a season-best 19 kills in back-to-back matches at Fresno State. Had a season-high five block assists at Boise State (2/20). Hit a phenomenal .633 (19-of-30) with no attack errors at Fresno (3/13).

All-Mountain West Team selection for the first time in 2019 · Led the team and ranked seventh in the Mountain West averaging 3.14 kills per set · McMahon’s 361 kills led UW and was the fifth-best mark in the league · Second on the team appearing in 115 sets in her sophomore campaign · Had arguably her best match as a Cowgirl in 2019 season finale against Weber State (12/6) as she recorded a career-high 26 kills on 54 swings, recording a .370 hitting percentage · Had 10 or more kills in 21 matches in 2019 · Second on the team with 389.5 points · During league play, McMahon’s 3.62 points per set ranked eighth in the conference.

KC McMahon made quite an impact on the Cowgirl squad in her first season in the lineup • Appeared in 21 matches for the Pokes, including 57 sets • Finished the season with 93 kills • Also added 20 blocks on the season • Recorded 16 kills in the Cowgirls’ match at Portland to set a new career high • Also added six digs at Portland, which was a career high • Tallied four service aces at Colorado State for a career best.

A three-year letterwinner at Fountain Hills High School • Team captain during her senior season and a two-time All-State, All-Conference and All-Division selection • Also earned team MVP honors twice In her senior season, was the Region Player of the Year, an Arizona Republic Top-25 Player to Watch and the Arizona Small School Player of the Year • Was a two-time indoor State Champion and a 2017 3A Beach State Champion • Is the Fountain Hills High School record-holder for kills in a season (654) and career kills (1,784).
