Biography

Junior (2023)
Appeared in a trio of matches in 2023 and tallied eight kills while hitting .500 and totaled four blocks. Had seven kills in the win against Idaho State (9/16) and four blocks in her lone start of the season.

Sophomore (2022)
Made 18 starts and appeared in 19 matches before injury cut her season short. Had 69 kills and 67 total blocks in 2022. Her 1.02 blocks per set led the Cowgirls. Had 10 kills against Santa Clara (9/2). Notched nine blocks at New Mexico (9/29). Had four matches with five-or-more blocks. Had six matches with five-plus kills. Hit .208 on the season and had 12 aces.

Freshman (2021)
Appeared in 17 matches and made nine starts during her freshman campaign. Had 41 kills on the season, averaging 0.85 per set. Notched 34 total digs, good enough for a 0.83 block per set average while averaging 1.48 kills per set. Had a career-high eight kills in the match at Air Force (10/30). Had a season-best eight total blocks against Fresno State (10/2).

High School
A two-year team captain at Lake High School, Mazzocca received First Team All-Federal League, First Team All-Stark County and First Team All-District honors while playing for Lake while also receiving the team’s MVP Award. Mazzocca has also been a multi-time All-Academic honoree in the league. For her club team, the NOVA Juniors, Mazzocca helped lead her squad to the 2019 Patriot National Championship. Mazzocca received the Diploma of Distinction and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
