Biography

Senior (2022)
Made the transition to libero after spending the first three seasons of her career as an outside hitter. Finished third in the league averaging 3.68 digs per set and tallied 442 digs. That number ranks sixth-best in program history for single-season digs. One of two Cowgirls to play in all 120 sets in 2022. Was second on the team with 87 assists and led the way with 29 service aces. Had 24 matches with 10-plus digs and five with 20-plus. Recorded 25 digs against Nevada (10/8). Had five matches with multiple aces, including four against Idaho (9/3). Tallied five-plus assists eight times on the year.

Junior (Fall 2021)
Zuroske once again did it all for the Cowgirls as she averaged 1.53 kills and 2.17 digs per set while finishing second on the team with 30 aces and added 22 total blocks. Finished fourth on the team with 158 kills while her 223 digs was second-most on the team. Was fourth with 201 total points. Had eight matches with 10-or-more kills and nine matches with 10-plus digs, including 22 in the season finale (11/20).

Played in all 14 matches and had nine starts on the season. Zuroske was a jack-of-all-trades for the Cowgirls, finishing third on the team with both 98 kills and 95 digs. Led UW with 16 service aces and was fifth on the team with 15 assists. Tallied 17 total blocks and was third with 125 points. Had four matches with 10-plus kills and three with double-digit digs. Had three double-doubles on the season. Tallied a career-high 15 kills in the season finale (4/3) and had a season-best 13 digs against CSU (2/27).

Hailey Zuroske proved to be highly-versatile in her freshman season for the Cowgirls, beginning the season in the front row as an outside hitter before transitioning to the back row in the latter-half of 2019 · Played in all 31 matches and appeared in 111 sets her freshman year · Recorded 78 kills and hit .180 · Third on the team with 17 service aces in 2019 · Fourth on the team with 159 digs and averaged 1.43 digs per set · Recorded a career-high 12 kills twice during her freshman year and had 16 digs in the win at Boise State (10/19) · Member of the Mountain West All-Academic Team.

Hailey Zuroske comes to Wyoming after lettering four years in volleyball at Marian High School in Omaha, Neb. • Was a two-time Nebraska state champion, leading Marian to titles in 2015 and 2017, while also helping the team to state semifinal appearances in 2016 and 2018 • Was an all-state honorable mention selection in 2017 and 2018, and as a senior she compiled an impressive stat line with 310 kills and 312 digs • She was named to both the Honor Roll and Principal's Honor Roll all four years of her high school academic career • She has also been a member of National Honor Society since 2017 • Participated in a leadership program at Marian called Crusaders Elevating Others.

Zuroske was born on October 24, 2000 in Omaha, Neb. • Parents are Chris and Michelle Zuroske • Also enjoys hanging out with friends, walking her dog, listening to music and spending time with family • Plans to major in Pharmacy in UW.
