2024-25 (sophomore): Competed in five tournaments for the Cowgirls with her best finish (48^th) coming at the Ram Classic after shooting 231 (78-77-76). … Led the Cowgirls with a 2-1 record at the Mountain Classic Matchplay event in Palm Desert, Calif.

2023-24 (freshman): Spielman played in all four of Wyoming’s 2023 fall tournaments as a true freshman and played in all six regular season during the spring.  Her best tournament finish was a 27th-place showing at the Colonel Wollenberg Ram Classic, where she shot her best tournament total of 219 (+3) and her lowest individual round of 71 (-1).  When Spielman signed her National Letter of Intent with Wyoming in November of 2022, UW head women’s coach Josey Stender said, “Samantha is the whole package on and off the course.  She is a long hitter and a methodical, strategic player.  She is a tremendous multi-sport athlete from a very accomplished, athletic family. Samantha knows how to win, be a positive teammate and will also bring a lot of national playing experience with her.”

High School:  Spielman enjoyed a very impressive prep career at Sheridan High School in Sheridan, Wyo.  Her high school career was highlighted by winning the Wyoming Class 4A Individual State Title as a sophomore and senior in 2020 and 2022 while finishing as the runner-up as a freshman in 2019 and third as a junior in 2021.  Spielman also helped lead Sheridan to a team title in 2021.  She was a four-time All-State honoree.  Following her 2022 state title win she was named the Lew Lepore Wyoming High School Player of the Year.  Outside of golf, Spielman found success on the basketball court, earning All-Conference honors in 2021 and 2022, helping Sheridan to a third-place finish in the 2021 state tournament.  She also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and being named a four-time academic letterwinner.

Personal:  Spielman is the daughter of Christy and Jason Spielman.
