Biography

Freshman (2015-16): Missed the 2015-16 season due to a knee injury.

High School: A four-time letterwinner while attending Maize High School...was a three-time All-League selection, while being named First Team All-State and Honorable Mention All-State during her career...during her senior campaigns, she was selected Wichita All-Metro, Co-League MVP and to the Kansas Basketball Coach All-Star Game...helped her team to a 24-1 overall record and a State Runner-Up...as a junior, she averaged ten points, 5.2 rebounds and four assists, while being named to the Blue Star Report "Players to Watch" list...helped her team to four league and Sub-State championships while the team finished second in the state in 2014, third in 2012 and fourth in 2013...was also named to the 6A State All-Tournament Team...besides basketball, she also lettered in track and field...was an All-League and All-State selection, along with being named an All-American by USA Track and Field in the heptathlon...an excellent student, she was a member of the National Honor Society, while being involved in several scholastic activities.

Personal: Full name Daley Lynn Handy...born May 4, 1996 in Liberal, Kan...is the daughter of Jerrod and Dana Handy, and has one sibling, Jacey.
