Before Wyoming: Ran his prep career at Natrona County High School...as a senior missed cross country season due to injury...rebounded to earn two all-state honors in track...placed second in the 1,600 meters in 4:24 and fourth in the 3,200 meters in 9:35...his 4:24 broke a 30-year old school record...helped guide Natrona County to the state team title...was awarded the WHSAA Courage Award...as a junior earned all-conference and all-state honors in cross country...placed second in the 3,200 meters at the state track meet...as a sophomore earned all-conference and all-state honors in cross country while helping his team to the state title...on the track placed sixth in the 3,200 meters at the state meet...in the classroom was on the honor roll.
Personal: The son of Larry Ayers and Linda Gillum...born July 13, 1994, in Casper, Wyo...has one sister, Madison, and one brother, Duncan...has not declared a major at UW.
