TRACK AND FIELD
2014-15: Ran two all-time top 10 marks in Wyoming history during the season...indoors placed sixth in the 800 meters at the MW Championships in a personal-best 1:50.16, the fifth-fastest time in school history...also ran under 1:52 in two other meets during the indoor season...outdoors placed fourth in the 800 meters at the conference meet in 1:49.31...ran 1:50 or faster at five other meets, including a personal-best 1:49.11 at the Colorado Invite on April 11, the sixth-fastest time in school history...also helped run the fourth-fastest 4x400 relay in school history...qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary in the 800 meters and placed 23rd.
2013-14: Indoors placed fifth in the 800 meters at the MW Championships, after running the fifth-fastest time in school history in the prelims in 1:51.55...also helped the 4x400-meter relay place fourth at the event...won the 800 meters at the Border War Dual on Jan. 18...Outdoors his top performance in the 800 meters was 1:52.03 to place fourth at the Jack Christiansen Invite on April 26...placed 12th in the event at the MW Championships...three of his last five 800 meters were below 1:53...named MW Academic All-Conference in the classroom.

2014-15: Redshirted...did not compete during the cross country season.

Before Wyoming: Earned his bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the University of Liverpool in June...ran middle distance for the Sale Harriers Manchester...owned personal bests of 49.9 in the 400 meters, 1:50 in the 800 meters and 3:53 in the 1,500 meters.
Personal: The son of Chris and Michelle Atkinson...has one brother, Scott...pursuing his master's degree in communications at UW.
