2024: Finished ninth in the High Jump at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships at 1.9m. He also finished 10th in the Javelin Throw at 51.42m. During the indoor season, he finished ninth at the Bobcat Challenge in the Pole Vault at 3.88m.

Indoor Track & Field: Was the Cowboys top heptathlon athlete during the season… Finished fifth in the heptathlon at the Mountain West Championships with a season best score of 5,085 points… With the 5,085-point total he moved into fourth all-time in program history in the event… Finished fourth in the long jump at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a leap of 21-8… Took ninth in the high jump at the Mark Colligan memorial with a mark of 6-3.5.
Outdoor Track & Field: Had a productive season competing in multiple events for the Cowboys during the season… Moved up into ninth all-time in program history in the Decathlon posting a point total of 6,714…Finished seventh in the decathlon at the mountain West Championships posting a point total of 6,714… Also competed in the javelin and high jump at the Mountain West Championships… Took third in the javelin at the Spank Blasing Invite with a mark of 172-04… Finished fourth in the javelin and sixth in the long jump at the CU Invitational.
2020-21
Indoor Track & Field: Moved into ninth on the UW all-time list in the heptathlon with a total score of 4,704 at the Championships at the Peak, where he finished ninth… Set a career high mark of 6-06.75 in the high jump at the Power Meet.
Outdoor Track and Field: Was Wyoming’s best multi-event athlete during the season… Had a career best time of 15.76 in the 110M Hurdles at the Spank Blasing Invite… Cleared a career best height of 6-06.00 in the high jump at the Doug Max Invitational… Culminated his season by moving to ninth all-time in the UW Record Books in the Decathlon posting a score of 6,426 to finish sixth at the MW Championships.
2019-20
Indoor Track & Field: Redshirted during the indoor season.
Outdoor Track & Field: Cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
High School: Earned a total of nine varsity letters in three different sports at Kelly Walsh High School… In track & field, was the region champion in the high jump and triple jump while finishing second in the long jump as a senior and was the meet’s high scorer… At the state meet, finished third in the long jump and high jump and finished fourth in the triple jump… Named the Gerdom Award winner as Kelly Walsh HS’s top male athlete… Finished third at state as a junior in the high jump, following the regional meet where he finished second in the long jump, and triple jump and third in the high jump… Was a part of three state championship teams at Kelly Walsh… In basketball, was a first-team all-conference selection as a senior and a team captain as a junior… Won state titles as a team during his sophomore and senior seasons… In football, was a team captain and a second-team all-conference selection at wide receiver as a senior… Earned Wyoming High School Activities Association Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for football as a senior and basketball as a junior… Was a member of the honor roll every year of high school and graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
Personal: Son of Bryan and Shelly Coventry… Has one sister, Madison… Father, Bryan, competed on Wyoming’s track & field teams, and is fifth all-time in the outdoor high jump at 7-0… Mother, Shelly, also competed on UW’s track & field teams, and is seventh in the outdoor long jump at 19-6.5.
