TRACK AND FIELD
2013-14: Focused on the 400 meters during the season...indoors ran a season-best 59.43 at the Birds & Bees Invite on Feb. 8...helped Wyoming's distance medley relay place eighth at the MW Championships...outdoors best showing was 59.54 at the Cowpoke Open on May 3...named MW Academic All-Conference and a MW Scholar Athlete in the classroom.
2012-13: During the indoor season,competed at the MW Championships as a member of the distance medley relay team that achieved sixth place in 12:15...helped the distance medley relay to first place in 12:02 at the Holiday Inn Invite...came in sixth in the 800 meters in 2:24 at the Air Force Invite and was a member of the DMR that took first in 12:29...outdoors, competed in the 800 meters at the Cowpoke Open, finishing third in 2:21...placed fourth in the 800 meters in 2:22 at the Jack Christiansen Invite...named Academic All-MW and a MW Scholar Athlete.
2011-12: Had a breakout indoor season in which she assisted the 4x400-meter relay team to two first-place finishes in separate meets and helped the 4x800-meter relay to first place at the Blue & Silver Meet ... also placed fourth in the 800 meters at the Air Force Team Challenge in 2:23 ... during the outdoor season, qualified for the MW Championships in the 800 meters where she placed 14th in 2:18 ... placed third in the 400 meters at the Tom Benich Invite and second in the 800 meters at the Fum McGraw Invite in 2:18.
2010-11: Proved her worth early on in her freshman campaign, gathering four top-five finishes in the 100 and 200 meters throughout the year ... best finish came at the Potts Invite where she finished second in the 100 meters ... earned experience running at the MW Championships, finishing 18th in the 400 meters ... in the classroom, was named Academic All-Conference and a Scholar-Athlete with a 4.0 GPA.

2013-14: Redshirted...did not compete during the cross country season. 

Before Wyoming: Has been a member of the Cowgirl track and field team the past three seasons, but joins the cross country squad for the first time in 2013...specializes in the middle distances on the track with a personal best of 2:18 in the 800 meters...was a letterwinner in three sports at Douglas County High School, including track, basketball and cross country ... qualified for state track every year in high school and helped set school records in the 4x100-meter relay, the 4x200, the 4x400 and sprint medley ... was the valedictorian of her class, academic all-conference and a National Honor Society member. 
Personal: Born in Littleton, Colo., to Roger and Lilly Hurst ... majoring in finance.
