Biography

2010-11... Harris finished 10th or higher in every event in the indoor and outdoor seasons. Harris took first place in the 60-meter at the indoor MWC Championships with a personal-record time (6.79 seconds) as well as a second-place finish in the 200-meter dash. During the outdoor season, Harris had four first place finishes along with two second place finishes. Harris recorded two personal records, one of them also being a UW school record in the 200m with a time of 20.87. Harris finished the season with an eighth place finish in the 100m at the MWC Championships. He was named the most valuable track athlete for the Cowboys by the coaching staff. 2009-10... Harris had a successful freshman campaign. He had the second-best time in the 100-meter dash at 10.61. He also posted the fastest time in the 200-meter dash for the season at the Fum McGraw Open in Fort Collins, Colo., and had the fastest 400-meter dash time at the Front Range Classic with a time of 48.41 seconds. High School... Harris was a two-sport star, excelling in track and basketball throughout his years at Natrona County High. He still holds the Wyoming state record in the 400-meter dash and was a state champion in four events. He also was an honor roll student and a National Honor Society member. Personal...
