He finished 11th at the MW Indoor Championships in the 400 and helped the 4x400 team earn a sixth place finish. During the outdoor campaign, he appeared in only one event. High School: Graduate of Burns High School. He earned state titles in both the 200 meter and 400 meters in high school and nearly won a title in the 100 meters. He owns the state record in the 400 meters. Also competed in football and basketball in high school. He earned WyoSports Prep Athlete of the Week honors numerous times during his time at Burns High School. Cody Hape holds the #7 fastest time in the 400mts indoors with a time of 48.11.
