University of Wyoming Athletics

Oisin O'Gailin will begin his first year at the University of Wyoming in the 2025-26 season, coaching men's and women's cross country, mid-distance and distance runners.

A native of Balleybofey, Ireland, and graduate of the University of Tennessee - Martin, O'Gailin will make his coaching debut at the school where he once ran. As a graduate runner for Wyoming, he held the then mile school record and earned points at the Mountain West Indoor Championships. At UT-Martin, O'Gailin won the OVC DMR in 2019 and finished runner-up in the OVC 5,000 meters.

As a professional, O'Gailin ran for Finn Valley AC of Donegal, Ireland. He broke the Finn Valley and Donegal 10,000-meter record with a time of 29:02.05 at the European Cup in Pace, France. His outing was also his first time wearing the Irish uniform, representing his country.
