High School... While at Battle Mountain High School, Jamie was a five-sport athlete. She competed and lettered in Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, soccer, cross country and track and field. In Nordic skiing she lettered her senior year while also winning the State Skimeister Championship. During alpine skiing, she lettered all four years, her freshman year she was selected as the Rookie of the Year. As a junior she was All-State in the giant slalom and slalom races. Her senior year she was again selected as an All-State member for the giant slalom and slalom races, as well as being named again as one of the state's Best of the Best. She was a part of the Alpine State Champion team in the giant slalom and slalom races. On the soccer field she was a part of the two-time Western Slope League Champion team as well as being named team captain her senior year. On the cross country course she was a part of team that placed second as a team at the regional meet her senior year. Finally on the track her junior year she was selected to the WSL All-Conference honorable mention team as well as competed at the State Track and Field Championships in the 4x800-meter relay. Her senior year she placed fourth in the 800-meter run at regionals and placed third in the 4x800-meter relay. She is a part of the 4x800m relay team that holds the school record. Academically she was a 4.0 student who was on the honor roll, National Honor Society and named to the Academic All-State team for all five sports she participated in.

Personal... Jamie was born on March 1st, 1990 in Vail, Colo., she is the daughter of Sandra and James Roberts. She intends on majoring in graphic design here at UW.
