Placed eighth in the 100 breaststroke at the Mizzou Invite... Finished sixth in the 100 breaststroke in a double-dual against Denver and Minnesota... Competed in the 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley at the 2017 Mountain West Championships... Her top finish came in the 100 breaststroke, where she placed 18th... Finished third in the 100 and 200 breaststroke against UNLV. Sophomore (2015-16): Schumann opened her sophomore season against New Mexico State. She participated in the 100 and 200 breast and came away with fourth place (1:06.18) in the 100 breast and sixth (2:27.83) in the 200 for Wyoming. The following day, Schumann took fifth in the both the 100 (1:06.58) and the 200 breast (2:28.51) against New Mexico. In the double-dual with NAU and LSU, she took fifth (34.08) in the 50 breast and sixth (1:14.24) in the 100. Schumann placed third (1:06.26) in the 100 breast against Border War rival CSU, before a fourth-place finish in the same event against Air Force and NAU. At the 2016 MW Championships, Schumann recorded a 1:03.93 in the 100 breast to finish 16th overall, and also placed 18th (2:19.49) in the 200 breast final. Freshman (2014-15): Against Border War rival Colorado State, Schumann finished fifth in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.54. While competing against New Mexico, Schumann was a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished fourth, and also came away from the dual with a fifth place finish in the 200 breaststroke and fifth place finish in the 100 breastroke with a final time of 1:07.64. Against Air Force, she placed seventh in the 200 IM with a final time of 2:22.75, finished fifth in the 200 breaststroke with a mark of 2:30.75, and came away with a season-best finish in the 100 breaststroke with third place and a time of 1:07.73. Against Denver, she was fifth with a time of 1:07.06 in the 100 breaststroke, and a seventh place finish in the 200 breaststroke. High School: Graduate of Haupstrape. She did not swim competitively in high school. She was a consistent swimmer for the swimming club SG Gelsenuirchen swimming at the German Championships. She finished in seventh place in the 50 breaststroke. She was also a regional champion in the 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke. Personal: She is the daughter of Michael and Barbara Schumann.
