Freshman (2021-22): Participated in sprint freestyle and the butterfly events … swam the team’s fourth-fastest 50-yard freestyle, going a 23.79 at the DU First Chance Meet (2/12/22) … also swam the team’s fifth-fastest 100-yard butterfly time, 57.87, along with a career-best time of 53.96 in the 100-yard freestyle. High School: A two-time varsity letterwinner while attending Mercy High School. She was a team-captain and All-State selection in 2019. She was a member of the team that took home two County Championships and won the MHSSA DI title. Diaz was a 2020 NICSA qualifier, while she was the 50 free English Champion and placed in the Top Eight in the 100 butterfly during the 2017 campaign. She was coached by Mike Venas.
