At the Mountain West Championship she scored points for the Cowgirls in the 100 breaststroke, as she finished 14th at 1:04.47. In the 200 breaststroke at the MW Championship she finished 18th with a season-best time of 2:17.69. Norlin earned an event win in a dual meet against Nevada and UNLV taking the crown in the 200 breaststroke at 2:22.02. Junior: (2012-13): Norlin once again had another successful campaign for the Cowgirls. She saw very limited action for Wyoming, but was able to earn top-three finishes in a few different meets. Norlin had her best meet against Northern Colorado, as she earned a top finish in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:11.84. Against CSU, Denver and New Mexico. She finished third in the 200 individual medley with times of 2:12.15, 2:11.97 and 2:11.34, respectively. Sophomore: (2011-12): After an excellent freshman season, Norlin picked up where she left off in her second year as a Cowgirl. At the 2012 Mountain West Championships, she helped the 200 medley relay team to a MW Championship and conference-record time of 1:38.56. She also swam in the 200 breaststroke at the conference championships finishing 14th with a time of 2:19.45. For her effort on the 200 medley relay team she earned All-MW honors. In the last home dual meet of the season against Colorado State, she finished in the top three of all three events in which she competed. She helped the 200 medley relay team to a first-place finish with a time of 1:42.66. Individually, she took second in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:11.26 and third in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.27. Freshman: (2010-11): Norlin swam well for the Cowgirls during her freshman season recording top finishes during the regular season. She recorded a first-place finish in the 200 individual medley against Mesa State. Against Air Force she placed first in the 100 backstroke. As a member of the 400 medley relay team against New Mexico she placed first and she also helped the 200 medley relay team to a second-place finish against Air Force. She earned her first Cowgirl letter award. High School: During high school, Norlin was named team captain her senior year. She also was named All-Conference and All-State her senior year. She was the individual state champion in the 100 freestyle and the state runner-up in the 200 individual medley. She holds all her team school swimming records in the freestyle, breaststroke and the IM. In 2009, Norlin set a Colorado record as a member of the 200 freestyle relay team. Personal: She was born in Fort Collins, Colo., on Feb. 22, 1992. She is the daughter of John and Suzanne Norlin and has one sibling, Riley. She is majoring in chemistry.
