She also finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke against CSU with a time of 2:26.11. Came away with a third-place finish against Denver in the 200 breaststroke with a final time of 2:25.65 and fourth in the 100 breaststroke with a mark of 1:06.97. In the dual against Air Force, Lacey came away with a third-place finish in the 200 breaststroke after posting a time of 2:27.57, a fourth-place finish in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:09.08 and was a member of the 200 medley relay team that finished fourth. In the New Mexico dual, she wasa part of the third-place finish 200 medley team. At the MW Championships, she finished with an eighth place finish in the 200 breaststroke and a 20th place finish in the 100 breaststroke. Junior (2013-14): Lacey continued to make strides for the Cowgirls in her junior season earning All-Mountain West honors in the 200 breaststroke. In the event at the MW Championships she swam a 2:17.59 finishing eighth in the race. In the preliminaries she swam a season-best time 2:16.15. Lacey also competed in the 100 breaststroke at the MW Championship finishing 20th with a season-best time of 1:04.50. In the 200 individual medley at the MW Championship she swam a season-best time of 2:07.64. Lacey earned a first-place finish in the 100 breaststroke against UIC with a time of 2:10.66. Sophomore: (2012-13): Lacey had another exceptional year for the Cowgirls. At the Mountain West Championships Lacey recorded personal-bests in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:04.09 and the 200 breastroke with 2:15.22. She was named All-Mountain West after placing seventh in the 200 breaststroke. Her best finishes came against Air Force, placing second in the 100 breast with a time of 1:07.31 and at UNLV placing second in the 200 breast with a time of 2:21.98. Freshman: (2011-12): Lacey had an excellent freshman season swimming the breaststroke and individual medley events for the Cowgirls. She saw limited action in the pool, but swam well at the Northern Colorado-Colorado School of Mines Triangular and Citrus Classic events. During winter training at the Citrus Classic she recorded three top-eight finishes. Her best finish came in the 400 IM taking fifth with a time of 4:41.94. She finished the 100 breaststroke in seventh (1:08.96) and the 200 breast also in seventh with a time of 2:31.29. Her best meet of the season came in the UNC-CSM Triangular recording four top-five finishes. She helped the 400 medley relay team to a second-place finish with a time of 4:04.38. Individually against UNC and CSM, she finished the 100 breaststroke in second place with a time of 1:08.61 as well as taking second in the 200 IM (2:15.03). In the 200 breaststroke, Lacey finished fourth with a time of 2:30.90. High School: Lacey joins the Cowgirls from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Fla., where she was a four-year letterwinner in swimming. She still holds three records in the 100 and 200 breast and the 200 individual medley, which earned her state championships in all three. She was her high school team captain her junior and senior years. Lacey also earned Athlete of the Year honors at Dr. Phillips HS. Personal: Lacey was born on Sept. 16, 1992 in Orlando, Fla. She is the daughter of Steve and Connie Lacey. She is majoring in energy systems engineering at UW.
