Eric made an impact at the NCAA Zone "E" Diving Championships at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He earned a personal-best score of 589.05 in the 1-meter springboard, earning a 16th place finish. He also added a 19th place finish in the 3-meter springboard with a score of 277.50. McMillin earned Second Team All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation in the 2-meter springboard with an eighth-place finish in the event with a score of 282.65. He also recorded a personal-best in the platform dive at the MPSF Championships with a score of 244.25. He finished the season with six top-five finishes.
